The Red Barn

The field trip to the Red Barn is a fun yearly tradition in the Fall for the students, parents and grandparents!  The slides, air trampoline, zip line, tractors, hayrides and of course the applesauce donuts cannot be missed!

Fire Station Field Trip

It is always fun to go to the Fire Station and hear about fire safety and see all the different kinds of fire trucks.  Our tour was conducted by a preschool student's grandpa who is a fire fighter for Salem City.  Thank you Salem City Fire Department.

All About Bats And Spiders

Would you like to sleep up-side-down like a bat?  Could you run faster if you had 8 legs like a spider instead of only 2?

School Year 2018-19 Yellowstone National Park

Our 2018-19 school year started off with a learning adventure of Yellowstone.  With the help of my interns and mother helper we discovered a wonderful national forest by watching webcams of Old Faithful erupting live and waterfalls and hot pots. Then we identified animals and birds and studied the habitat of bears!  We concluded our adventure by participating in the Yellowstone Olympics.  Can you stare as long as a owl?  Or run as fast as a bear?  Or jump as far as a rabbit?
