I have been teaching preschool for seventeen years. I love it! I enjoy teaching and seeing my students grasp new concepts. My classes are small, that way I can give a lot of individual attention to each student.
The curriculum includes learning the alphabet and sounds, shapes and numbers. We work on small and large motor skills. The children are taught how to write the alphabet and numbers. Math concepts, science, art, literature, nature, nursery rhymes, music with lots of singing and rhythmic movement are also part of my unique curriculum. Since preschoolers are emergent readers, we make and have plenty of books always accessible for them to read. We also go on great field trips!
