Fireman Don
Fireman Don came and talked about fire safety. He taught us that fire is a tool. It will help us if used properly, if not, it can be very dangerous to our lives.
Small, Medium and Large
Our intern read the students a book entitled "Billy Goat's Gruff". Here she is teaching them how to graph small, medium and large goats.
Hickory Kist
Here we are at one of our favorite places to visit. Hickory Kist is so good to us. They teach us a lot about what happens in a bakery. From cookie and bread making to a great story!

Obstacle Course
My intern and I put our heads together and planned an Obstacle Course.
It was complete with a climbing 5 ft. ladder, mini trampoline, tunnel, tumbling mats and a miniature balance beam. The children had so much fun.

Reading is Fun!
Reading is Fun! Just look at these students and you will see what I mean. Also, my mother helpers read to the students as well. Don't forget to read to your children. Also, visit your local library often.
Playdough Snowmen
Have you heard the story, "The Mystery of the Missing Red Mitten"? It is a great story about the heart of the snowman. After the students heard the story we made snowmen with hearts.
Santa's Elves
We had a fun Christmas season making Santa's Elves and pretending to be Santa's Elves. Take a look and see what I mean. We even decorated gingerbread cookies with the help of a mother helper.
Bears
"Bb" is for Bears. The children brought their favorite bear to school. With the help of a mother helper, we weighed and measured the bears. We compared the length of the bear to the length of the child. We even danced and snuggled with the bears. We love bears!
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time of giving thanks. I am very thankful to teach such wonderful children. They bring me so much joy. During the season the children made turkey puppets, Native American necklaces and we had a Thanksgiving feast with the help of our mothers and my intern.
Halloween
Halloween is a favorite time of year for me and the students. Witch Nana visited and shared stories with us and then our mother helpers were on hand with yummy goodies to make and eat.
Fossils
One of the preschool mothers brought fossils for the children to learn about. The children were fascinated. Afterwards we decided to make our own fossils with lifelike plastic bugs.
School Year 2016-2017
Here we are at the Red Barn, ready to ride out to the Pumpkin Patch. The children and I LOVE this field trip.
